It has been a month since my family and I moved into a home of our own, but I can truly say that Sheila and Dale Daak made the process of buying a home very smooth for us.  I was referred  to Sheila by a member of my church family , The Hill Family.  Mrs. Hill told me that The Daak's were great people and that they would be able to help me find a home to meet my families needs.  Little did I know that I would be meeting a realtor that would become a friend.  Sheila helped me get connected to someone so that I can get more funding for my home as a first time home buyer and She and Dale were always available at anytime to answer questions. To all it may concern Reference: Ms. Sheila Daak   It is with pleasure that I am able to write about a pleasant experience, when so much of the day to day things are negative. I thought of the home buying process as being one stumbling block after another. Here is where I met Ms. Daak and she assured me all would work out for the best and it did. Being a first home buyer, I didnt know what to do or expect, so I turned to Sheila for help as I would turn to a friend, and she did not let me down. It is apparent to me that during the process of purchasing my first home, not only was Sheila attentive to my needs and wants for a house, Ive come to also find out to my great surprise she also heard the in between the lines conversation. What I call - small talk that can be just as important, because I may not always be a straight to the point talker. The art of being good at your craft is a title I put on Ms. Sheila Daak (broker) friend, as even when the transaction was completed and I was happily moved into my new home, out of the blue I received a phone call from Sheila in reference to a topic I didn' think she had really heard. I being single, envisioned living in my home that includes a large back yard, and said  how nice it would be to have a dog that would enjoy the house and yard with me. Ms. Daak to my amazement had made contact with someone she knew with puppies they were giving away. She arranged the details and I now have a new home and a new companion (Tracy) to share it with. Attention to detail, knowledge of her product market, and a keen ear for listening are winning attributes, that stand out. I will hold dear the thoughtfulness including the follow up after the sale. I met Sheila Daak through an informational session on what to look for when buying a home.  As a first time home buyer not having any idea of where to start I thought "Here is someone providing good information......maybe I need to see her..." and I did. That was the first good step I made, Sheila took the time to listen to my "wants" and my expectations.  Thanks to Sheila, she brought me back to reality.....she showed me what I wanted, however in the process, she reminded me of my "needs" based on my family, what I was financed for and what I could do without immediately - that could be improvement projects for me over the years.  While standing in the wings allowing me to look at the homes she found, she was available to answer any questions, give suggestions, etc.  Sheila wanted to ensure that she was not only selling me the house I wanted, but she wanted to make sure that I was getting the best deal for my dollar.  Working with Sheila especially as a first time home buyer was a great experience and now I have been in my home for 9 months and still loving it without any regrets.   Thanks Sheila for all that you did. NOT ONLY DID YOU BECOME MY REALTOR, BUT A FRIEND TO THE FAMILY. YOU LOOKED OUT FOR THE FINE TYPE IN THE LOAN AND LET US KNOW WHAT WAS THE RIGHT THING TO DO AND WHAT THINGS WE WILL BE NEEDING.
